The Goal
Redesigning the "Pre-Deployment" ecosystem to unify testing, deliverability, and collaboration into a frictionless enterprise workflow.
The Problem: The "Feature-Density" Friction
Email on Acid offered an industry-leading suite of tools (Email Preview, Spam Testing, Canvas Markup, and Mozify), but the legacy interface suffered from feature bloat.
Fragmented Workflows: Users had to jump between disparate tools (e.g., moving from a Spam Test to an Image Optimizer), losing context and slowing down deployment.
Cognitive Overload: With 90+ client previews and multiple automated checks, the sheer volume of data was overwhelming for high-velocity marketing teams.
The UX Debt: The interface lacked a unified design system, making the transition from "Marketing Site" to "Active Product" feel disconnected.

The Strategy: The Workflow
Instead of treating features as standalone tools, I architected a linear, automated pipeline called Campaign Precheck. This shifted the user experience from manual QA to guided optimization.
1. The Unified Dashboard
I redesigned the primary campaign view to act as a mission control center.
Visual Hierarchy: Prioritized critical fails, like broken links or spam triggers.
The Result: Teams could identify and fix blockers across 90+ devices in seconds rather than minutes.
2. Integrated QA Modules
I created a modular UI for the secondary features so they felt like part of the core testing loop:
Spam & Deliverability: Integrated blocklist checks directly into the pre-send checklist.
Canvas & Collaboration: Built intuitive markup tools for real-time stakeholder feedback, reducing the need for external Slack/Email threads.
Mozify & Image Tools: Designed a one-click interface for image replacement and optimization.

The Solution: A Scalable Design System
To support this new architecture, I developed a comprehensive SaaS Design System that bridged the gap between the product and the brand.
Modular Component Library: Created standardized navigation, data tables, and modal patterns that allowed for rapid feature deployment.
The Brand Identity: Extended this clean, technical aesthetic to the blog, marketing assets, and event graphics, creating an experience where the brand felt as professional as the software it sold.

The Impact: Value-Driven Design
Faster Time-to-Market: The streamlined Precheck flow reduced the QA cycle for enterprise teams by an estimated 30%.
User Retention: Higher engagement with secondary features (Spam/Accessibility) due to improved discoverability.
The Big Picture: This UX transformation solidified Email on Acid’s market-leading position, directly contributing to its successful acquisition by Sinch.
