The Goal:
To position HPE Labs as a global leader in technological innovation by architecting a scalable digital hub. I transformed a fragmented web presence into a unified experience that bridges the gap between high-level business storytelling for C-suite executives and deep technical discoverability for scientists and researchers.
Phase 1: Audit & UX Research
I began by analyzing behavioral data to understand how diverse user groups navigated the existing site.
User Personas: Identified four primary audiences: C-suite executives (seeking leadership vision), Technologists (seeking publications), Team Members (seeking the podcast library), and potential employees/interns (seeking career roles).
Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborated with business units and the scientific Labs team to balance marketing storytelling with technical utility.

Phase 2: Information Architecture & Strategy
The core challenge was organizing vast amounts of disparate data into a cohesive "Central Hub".
Home Page as a Nexus: Designed the homepage to function as a strategic entry point, utilizing a storytelling approach to highlight four key innovation case studies.
Standardized Framework: Created a unified navigation framework adopted across platforms to ensure a consistent user journey
News-Style Architecture: Established a blog-style layout for latest news and articles, positioning Labs as a thought leader in real-time.

Phase 3: Modular Design & Technical Solutions
I moved from strategy into execution by building specialized templates for high-traffic content areas.
Filterable Content Library: Designed a filterable library for PDF technical publications, allowing researchers to find documentation with precision.
Podcast Reorganization: Completely restructured the podcast content organization to improve searchability and user sentiment.
Reusable Patterns: Established modular content models and scalable page patterns that reduced design rework for future updates.
Phase 4: Collaboration, AEM Testing & Quality Oversight
Ensuring high-fidelity implementation required balancing the strategic needs of business units with the technical requirements of the publishing and engineering teams.
Stakeholder Alignment: Acted as the primary UX lead for business units, facilitating feedback loops to ensure the "Central Hub" met C-suite storytelling goals and marketing objectives.
AEM Component Optimization: Partnered with the development team to test layout capabilities within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). I provided technical specs to modify existing AEM components, introducing new design options that supported the site’s modernized architecture.
Publishing Consistency: Collaborated closely with the publishing team to establish standardized workflows, ensuring that new articles, podcasts, and publications maintained visual and structural consistency.
Responsive QA Testing: Led design quality oversight by verifying visual and functional consistency across every breakpoint. I worked directly with the QA team to ensure that the fluid layouts, typography, and navigation frameworks translated perfectly from desktop to mobile.

Future Roadmap & Outcomes
The redesign laid the foundation for long-term growth and community engagement.
Content Credibility: Planned the next phase to include individual contributor credits for projects, building a page catalog for team members and leadership.
Scalable Success: The resulting site improved content discoverability and established a reusable interaction framework for future marketing and product tools.
